Guest guest
: I am so sorry, I know exactly what you were feeling. I had to have both knees replaced at different times. When it came to go back for the second knee the next year. I was laying on the gurney I started to freak out. I told my husband that " maybe I did not have Osteoarthritis as bad as everyone thought including myself and maybe I shouldn't have the surgery, " he kept reminding me how bad the pain was (that didn't help), I was trying to convense him and myself that maybe it wasn't so bad. My husband ended up calling the doctor in to give me another shot of valume (spelled incorrectly I know, but you get the drift). No, you are not a chicken, this is a big step and you just need a little time. I am feeling the same thing. I am scared to death that if I go under for one more surgery that I may not make it. You know what its like the others say I could die driving out of my drive way or crossing the street. I appreciate their input but it doesn't change the way I feel. I will pray to God to help you in your decision making. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} in Michigan
