Guest guest
Hi Mer, I did water fasts anywhere from 3 days to 10 days. The 3 day fasts were challenging enough, but entirely do-able....the 10 day fast water only, was brutal! But I do think it helped immensely. I probably won't be doing a 10 day fast again anytime soon, unless I was fatally ill. But I firmly believe in the power of fasting to cleanse the body and bring healing. If you haven't fasted before, you can start with one day events and work up to 3 day events. Be sure to do all of your research about fasting before you begin such a therapy. There are protocols to follow, such as what to do before a fast and how to properly break a fast. Otherwise, fasting itself is incredibly cheap, easy and effective. You just drink lots of water and keep your spirits focused on the cleansing you are experiencing, with optimism. Please let me know how you fare if you undertake a fast. You will lose weight, but gain it back again when you start eating. Best wishes! Guest guest
I've taken enzymes on and off. Sometimes my digestion seems to be ok w/o them, sometimes not. For enzymes, right now I'm taking NOW pancreatin. I do the Humaworm parasite cleanse from humaworm.com. It's done every 4 months (3 times/year). I've done 1 so far and will do my next one in December. It is a 1 month long cleanse. There is an 'Ask Humaworm' forum on curezone. Some neat recovery stories there. Guest guest
Hi Mer, Yes, I did still have the spaciness and fatigue when I started fasting. It was these symptoms that made me want to fast in the first place, because they were so disheartening to deal with day by day. The fasting helped only for short temporary periods of time initially. The symptoms always returned and even got worse with some fasts. But in the big picture and over the long term, the fasting actually helped to reduce all of my symptoms until they were gone. For instance the periods of brain fog were farther apart and shorter in duration. I think the cleansing you are doing sounds all good....but for me there was no " AHA! " moment when I said " It helped! " It just didn't happen for me. It was all so gradual. Keep doing all the good things you are doing and be patient to let your body see the results of all the good work you are doing. I know it's hard when you want to feel well. Learn to listen to what your body is saying to you, regarding foods (are you avoiding all wheat, for instance?) and make adjustments as necessary. It's a good idea to try to isolate one food at a time to see if you are reacting to it; otherwise, it's too hard to keep track of what you may be having reactions to. I hope that helps. Guest guest
Hi gg, I can't remember if I actually tested for parasites or not...I know I sent in a stool sample for the gluten sensitivity testing, and I had other tests done by a naturopath, but none of the stool other than the one. If I know I can safely treat for a condition at home with effective products over the counter, I make the assumption that it is better to just treat as a matter of caution. Better to be safe than sorry, it is said, and I wholeheartedly agree. That is why I've treated for candida with caprylic acid, for parasites with cleanses, used antifungals, anti-virals, and anti-bacterials as consistently as I can. I make assumptions cautiously, but at the same time, want to do everything I can to keep myself on the right track. Let us know how your testing goes! How are you being tested? Stool sample? Guest guest
patty; yes, stool - drs data - who does it over a period of 3 days which i thot was better than others only one time. its expensive tho, so i only do it like once in 7 yrs. or so. one time after the silicone inj. they found high clostridium which is one of the worst bacteria. h. clark says to get rid of it with oregeno oil, and that youre uric acid on blood test will be low if you have this bacteria, which mine is at present, so dont know if maybe you can even have it and not show up in stool? ( i took antibiotics for it last time it showed) - she checks everything with her own devices, which i dont know of any drs using - wish i could find someone, or someone to teach.how to diagnose like she does. gg Re: Patty - fasting Hi gg,I can't remember if I actually tested for parasites or not...I know I sent in a stool sample for the gluten sensitivity testing, and I had other tests done by a naturopath, but none of the stool other than the one.
