Guest guest
I just recently had my implants put in. I went from an A cup to a DD. I am someone who not had this procedure performed but also others as well. I had wanted implants since I was 13 years old. I am now 27, been married for 10 years and have 2 children. I have nothing but problems and complications since I had my surgery. Not to mention PAIN and sadness. There is nothing more frusterating than having EVERYONE ask you WHY is one of your breasts so much larger than the other. Or having your surgeon act like " NOTHING is wrong. I had apperance issues with my body to begin with. Now I have found myself in a situation of where I actually spent MONEY to make my appearance worse. If anyone is religious at all who might be reading this...Please pray for me! I will be seeing my surgeon again next Tuesday, just so that I can hear him say.... Guest guest
My Dear : Honey, if you knew more about these devices you would demand that your surgeon remove them. I have seen so many women just like you over the years, and please believe me that these devices could cause many more problems. I have been sick for so many years from silicone breast implants, and they were removed too late. They were grossly ruptured, and I am so sick. This really makes me angry when I see so many women who have made the same mistake as me. Stay close, and we will try to help you...love always...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just got Saline Implants on July 31, 2009 I just recently had my implants put in. Guest guest
what is sooooo upsetting to me is that the surgeon that I have used is someone that we know very very well. He performed this surgery as well as other procedures that I had done, to several of my family members. THEY have NOT had any problems. I am always sick, tired, and and sick and tired of him acting like NOTHING is wrong. I don't know if it was God or just my own instinct telling me before hand, that I would be the one in my family to be the first to have complications. Saturday morning I woke up with extreme bruising on my left breast. I did panic, as well as my husband. I have noticed over the past few weeks that one of {my left one} my implants was shrinking. Which was a sign that there was a leak. I contacted my surgeons office, and I was NOT treated with respect at all. I contacted them again today about the bruising and they said that they have never heard of this happening. I AM SCARED TO DEATH! The only time they see an episode of bruising is immediately after surgery. Well my surgery was on July 31,2009, several weeks ago. I did not even bruise after the surgery. Have you ever heard of something like this happening before? I could not imagine how terrified that I would be if I would have had silicone implants. My doctor came highly recommended by others, not only family members. I just cant understand WHY he acts like there is nothing wrong with me, all is normal. Although, he cannot explin the things like bruising. Thank you for your response! Guest guest
, this must be very frustrating for you, and I understand. All breast implants are different, and our immune systems are different too. It is heartbreaking to know that you are suffering, and that your doctor is not listening. Honey, anyone who has these devices will eventually become sick, it might be years before they realize that something is wrong. Saline is just as bad as silicone, because they are prone to infection, and leaking. The problem is that if a plastic surgeon is so uncaring to abandon his patient, he would be the wrong surgeon to remove your implants. Please try to find another doctor who will listen to you, and do not lift heavy objects. Everything will be okay, and know that we will be here for you. , if you should continue to have more problems, please go to the ER. I am so sorry that you are hurting. Stay close...love you...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` Just got Saline Implants on July 31, 2009 I just recently had my implants put in. I went from an A cup to a DD. Guest guest
Dear , This whole scenario does not sound right, and I'm sorry it has happened with someone you have trusted so much in the past. It is so disheartening to put faith in someone, only to have them dash your faith by some unkind and unwarranted responses to your valid concerns. Bruising is a sign of bleeding, and if your implant is shrinking as well, then something is going on inside of you that should be attended to. The leak is a separate concern from the bruising, IMHO, but they could be related...this is something a doctor needs to check out. A KNOWLEGEABLE doctor, who cares. I have not heard of this happening before, after implantation. I had extreme bruising after my explant, but that was because of the removal of my implants and the fact that I did not have drains, so the pocket naturally filled up with the blood and fluid that is a part of the surgical process. If you have bruising now, that would indicate to me that there is some vessel that has begun bleeding internally. Ask your doctor if he does not know why you are bruising, and cannot give you a satisfactory answer for your concerns, to recommend someone else who does know in your area. Otherwise, we have surgeons that we trust with questions such as these. You might try contacting Dr. Kolb by email. She is very good at replying to your concerns. drkolb@... I'd be curious what she has to say.
