Guest guest
My Dear : I am sorry that I missed your note. It is very important that your plastic surgeon remove your capsules. My capsules were not removed, and they continue to cause many health problems for me. I had silicone breast implants, and they were ruptured for years. Honey, please call Dr. Blais here in Canada. His phone # is 613-728-8688, and I know that he would be happy to talk to you regarding your explanation. He has helped so many women, and I know that he would be happy to explain to you why the capsules must be removed. In my opinion, I wish that I had listened to the many women who told me to make sure that my capsules be removed. I would hate to see you go through all of the pain and suffering that I have had to endure. I wish you the very best...stay close to this wonderful group of women. Sending love to you...always...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` Article by Dr. Blais--------"en bloc" procedure, etc.glory2glory1401 Date: Monday, October 26, 2009, 5:44 AM Hi..............Could you please e-mail me again, the article by Dr. Blais. I believe he was the one who listed the toxins in implants. Did he also write on the "en bloc" method of implant removal? I am seeing a plastic surgeon in 2 weeks. I am not sure whether she has ever removed implants. She does breast reconstruction after mastectomy. She is Canadian but did work in Texas. Her name is Dr. Fortin. Maybe some of your members have heard of her, and could offer me some more information about her. I want to print off the articles you send me for her, so that I can discuss these issues with her when I have my consult November 10. Thanks. ............. Guest guest
I truly understand everything that Dr. Blais has written, but I am still not 100 percent certain that capsule removal is necessary. I have saline implants that are still intact. My capsule is only contracting a little around my implants. Removing the implant is one thing, but to start disturbing everything else around the implant seems unnecessary. I do not want to be left with a partial muscle, and chest wall, as well as vascular and nerve damage, when the capsule is cut out if all it is is my own scar tissue. The doctor I am seeing does lots of reconstructive surgery. She is a good doctor. She is also the second PS I have been referred to. I had great difficulty finding her. There doesn't seem to be any doctors who perform this surgery, and none that I have found who to the capsulectomy. I don't seem to have a choice. I do not have the means to travel to all parts of the country for this surgery. If you have any suggestions, other than trusting God, which seems what we should be doing more of in these circumstances, then let me know where all of these doctors are who do this type of surgery. I can't find any, and I have been trying since July. Thanks. Guest guest
Lea..........I just called Dr. Blais' office, and left a message. I don't know what he can do because as I said, I am still unable to find a surgeon to do a capsulectomy. I figure that getting the implant out is step one, and if I have problems down the road, I will deal with that then. At least I will not have the implants any longer.. I feel that will leave me in a better position than I am now. My surgery is scheduled for December 11, in London Ontario, no capsulectomy. Thanks. Guest guest
Oh, , I am sorry that you were unable to speak to Dr. Blais; however, he might call you back, because he knows of a plastic surgeon here who would remove the capsules. Here is Dr. Blais's fax # 613-728-0687, just send him a note, and tell him that you are unable to find a plastic surgeon to remove the capsules. , sometimes, if you have had the saline implants in for a few months, it might be okay to leave the capsules in. The problem is that they can become contaminated while in your body, and cause many problems later on. I am not a doctor, but I have helped hundreds of women here, and we just want the best for you. I will send the article again by Dr. Blais...stay close...love...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~```` Article by Dr. Blais------- -"en bloc" procedure, etc.glory2glory1401Date: Monday, October 26, 2009, 5:44 AM Hi.......... . ....Could you please e-mail me again, the article by Dr. Blais.
