One of our former members, Kenda, overcame her fibromyalgia through doctor assisted hormone therapy. She never had implants. You can search the archives for her messages about it (which I've reposted several times.)Another of our members, Darryl , was struggling with all-over debilitation pain. At one time she was on duragesic patches that were costing about $1500/mo. Darryl went to the Fibroymalgia and Fatigue centers in Las Vegas, and she was put on thyroid hormones, cortisol, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, if I remember correctly. I remember being pleasantly surprised when we talked on the phone about it, because it confirmed my suspicions that hormones are a key player in our ability to overcome pain and heal.Check out this important information and do your own research if you are in pain. If you have no relief, and have not looked into the hormonal aspect of it, maybe this is a key to your healing puzzle.http://www.fibroandfatigue.com/ourapproach.phpOur Treatment Approach

Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers, Inc. (FFC) specializes in the

treatment of Fibromyalgia (FM), Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction

Syndrome (CFIDS) and Unrelenting Fatigue (UF) with our unique six-step

program. These are complex diseases that involve multi-system

disturbances and abnormalities. Because of this complexity, these

conditions have been poorly treated with the normal 8-15 minute office

visits typically offered.

Our Founder and Chairman of the Board, Bob Baurys, has experienced

FM first hand and our Chief Medical Director, Dr. Teitelbaum,

knows what it is like to have CFIDS. It is that combination of personal

suffering and the knowledge gained which allows us to bring this unique

treatment to you. Under FFC's treatment approach, patients experienced

80% improvement in pain and energy levels by the 4th visit. Most

patients eventually achieved complete resolution of the symptoms with a

simple maintenance plan.

FFC's six-step integrated program looks at not only helping to

relieve the symptoms, but addressing the underlying etiologies that

cause those symptoms. We use a patient-centric, holistic (meaning

treating the whole body, not just the symptoms) approach to treatment

and plan of care. Successful treatment of these diseases requires a

plan catered to each patient, therefore, steps may occur in different

order for different patients and multiple steps are often initiated

simultaneously. Generally, these can be broken down as follows:

Stabilize the Patient by addressing pain and sleep disturbances;Mitochondrial Enhancement by improving the powerhouse of each cell, or the "mitochondria";Balance the Hormones by evaluating hypothalamus and pituitary function;Treat Infectious Components and treat underlying viral infections; Address Unique Etiologies such as neurotoxins and coagulation defects;Provide Individualized Maintenance Program with minimally necessary medications and supplements to assure absence of symptoms.

For answers to your questions or to make an appointment, call

toll-free 1-866-443-4276 to speak with a National Patient

Representative. At FFC, we were founded on the belief that no one

should endure sustained suffering when help is available. Check our

locations for a FFC near you. If the nearest Center is a distance away,

we offer affordable and flexible treatment for out-of-town patients.
