Guest guest
Gert, Call the doctor! He could have either aspiration pneumonia or a UTI. Either one can be present without many obvious symptoms. It could be just a virus, but you should check it out. In the meantime, push lots of water and give him tylenol. Guest guest
Dear friends, my good friend E-mailed me from Montana last night and told me that she has cancer of the tongue. I realize that this has nothing to do with pancreatitis but I need your help. If anyone knows how to search any information on tongue cancer and the best hospital to go to for the surgery and treatment my friend and I would really be grateful. She lives in a remote part of Montana and is planning to go to the surgeon there close to home. I want her to go the best hospital and the best doctors who treat this type of cancer of the tongue. Thank you for any help you can give me since I am not very good with searching on the computer. In fact I am rather clueless. Please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Gail. Thanks so much. I would check M. D. in Houston Texas. They are a " teaching hospital " and therefore involved in many studies and clinical testing. My father was part the Luperon clinical testing 15 years ago (he went there for prostrate cancer and M.D. found liver cancer the size of a cantelope that the local hospital didn't even detect). He is now 78 and still going strong and has no sign of cancer. The great part is that the hospital does a full scan every six months...just to be sure. He helps pastors and missionaries by helping build/remodel their homes - mostly drywall! Guest guest
I went on-line and found there are doctors that specialize in Tongue Cancer. Guest guest
Do not remember that one before, Andy... Have you told this to your doc? My immediate thought (and I am not a doctor, not a nurse, not anybody with any medical expertise) is that it may be some odd coincidence which needs further investigation. I do know that sometimes the arms and elbows, in particular, can have numbness after surgery, if they are not sufficiently padded and protected, just because the surgery can take a while. But I wouldn't think that to be the case with an SARPE... Ask your surgeon, and your general physician, and perhaps the two of them need to have a chat about it. There are certainly a number of tests that can be revealing about what's going on with the blood flow and the nerves. (Aside from that, old joke repeated: " Don't turn your arm that certain way, unless you're a tennis or golf star and need it to make your aces! " Tiger: Turn your arm any way you want!!!) C. > Hello my names andy and I had the palate expansion sugery about 11 > days ago.I was wondering if anybody else had like a burning > sensation in their upper arm during their recovery.whenever i turn > my arm a certain way it burns is this super bad????other then that > its not so bad. Guest guest
Hi, my daughter was doing pretty well after the strep--started eating again well, now she won't eat again???? We started diflucan and I don't know if this is die off, teething or she's sick again--I am so tired of this. Any thoughts? No new foods introduced, just started a scd legal calcium citrate. She also started pooping on her own every other day. I read that diflucan can cause stomach upset. Thanks for any advice,
Guest guest
Calcium citrate and magnesium citrate are terrible for feeding yeast, IMO. This is not only my experience with these forms, I have read others having the same problem. I would change to higher quality calcium supplement. jjcox22 jjcox22@...> wrote:Hi, my daughter was doing pretty well after the strep--started eating again well, now she won't eat again???? Guest guest
Hi Gertrude, The magnesium glycinate is for constipation, what else can I use? The other forms of calcium (carbonate) cause constipation and my daughter needs the calcium.
