,

Could you freeze the juice in smaller containers to thaw out a little at

a time? Maybe that would save you a bit of money (and trips to the

store).

Tamara,

Our Domincks has a terrific organic section...or, yes whole foods has

it.

Whole Foods also have a pear juice in the baby food isle in small

containers

that's ok. We only do juice for supplements here so the big bottle goes

to

waste sometimes (it has to be used within 3 days...no preservatives).

It's

very yummy.

Wow, I had the best waffle for breakfast:

1/4 cup pecans

1 extra large egg

1/4 tsp baking SODA

Mix with hand blender. Spray waffle iron with oil and preheat. Make sure waffle

is well

done so it will be crisp! I have an older Cusinart Belgian Waffle maker and it

is reliable.

Top that waffle with butter and/or heated strawberries with honey, and sweetened

dripped

yougurt, a side of crisp bacon or SCD sausage and Oh mama what a breakfast.

You could also try putting prepared waffles in a low oven for a couple of hours

and crisp

them.

Coconut flour should not be used until later in the diet. See " The Stages. " I

do not know

how to make it but imagine you would judst process dessicated unsweetened

coconut in a

food processor..

Believe it or not I make a gelatin that combines tomato juice and orange juice.

You could

use fresh legal juices from your juicer but the pineapple juice has to be Dole

canned or it

doesn't work with the gelatin powder.

Some extra advice. Go on the intro diet for a few days and then continue your

transition to

SCD without illegal foods.
