HELP! ? re: printing the manual

I hope some computer literate person can help me. I have downloaded the newest

version of the manual (my original one was mailed to me) to my hard drive. When

asked " what program do you want this associated with (or something like that) " ,

I didn't know, but picked MS Word. Now I can't print it. When I open it up in

Word, it looks like gibberish on the screen. It shows as an icon on my desktop.

How can I print out the manual? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a

bunch!!
