Guest guest
fruit sugars vary in amount and type depending on ripeness and wether thats natural or being held in a cool store and also growing conditions........... huge variations tree ripened or converting sugars by cooking, generally cooking conversion is an inferior process i can see they way you are thinking and its not really going to help you the reality of fruit selection is a much more dynamic and fraught process a asimple rule is to go for really in season stuff and sometimes i will buy a bit in the store then taste it in the carpark to see if its ok and then buy more if it is smell is a really good indicator of fruit, should be fragrant, don't settle for second rate humans are a battery raised animal now and the foods commeasurate any really top in season fruit is usually ok but some like grapes only have to go a bit off the top and they get quite yeast promoting and nutritionally negative and guess what fruit goes into juices? i don't know when this board is going to get that weights and types of fruit without attention to quality, season, palatablity, sugar profile and nutritional return is meaningless > hi > > odd question as always, but does anyone know which fruits are > considered to be low sugar? > > thank you > > emma
