Dear All

Having tried Metro Gel, Sulphur compunds, and Monoxodine without success, I

decided to " dump my derm " and his advice. I decided to pursue Photoderm and

put as little on my face as possible. I wash with Cetaphil and moisturise

with Aloe Vera straight from the plant. I only use sunscreen if I plan to

be in the direct sun, (otherwise a always wear an adequate hat and hurry in

and out of the sun).

I just finished my third photoderm treatment last Tuesday. I have been

having them every two weeks. I swell up fairly extensively on the cheeks

after every tx and the sweling receeds usually by day 5. I have definately

experienced a reduction in not only the amount of, but the intensity of

flushing. I still get a few pastules but they are few comparatively. I

plan to continue tx as I genuinely feel they are improving my condition and

way of life.

I have developed ocular symtoms of rosacea and seb derm on my right eyelid

which is not very nice. I am cleansing gently with Lid Care and wearing no

make-up until I can see the Opthomologist.

I am doing my best not to let cea get the best of me. It has put alot

of stress on me and my family and we are all sick of it. Dealing with it

day to day is no fun, but I try not to obsess and get on with life the best

I can. My one year old son reminds me every moment that there are more

important things in life than my face.

When I finish my photoderm txs I will post the settings to the Group.

Take care, e
