I spent my childhood being made fun of and being called names, even by my parents sometimes. Some of the most devastating times of my life was my childhood. When I became an adult I thought it would be different (Wrong) it was just as bad in a different way. My children learned early on what I would do if I ever caught them or heard of them being cruel to someone overweight. They are now two adults that have empathy and understanding. It has to be taught and shown by example how wrong it is to be cruel over someone's weight, or that's what I think. I just needed to vent too. it infuriates me how people act sometimes.
