Guest guest
Trisha, The clinic lasts from 9:00 to maybe 1 or 2 o'clock. Dr. Rutledge does not exam you. He speaks to the group - makes some introductions (Debbie, Barbara any post ops who might show up, etc.) He shows the video. Gives everyone an opportunity to ask questions in the group. Meets with all post ops first to remove staples, etc. Then meets with all pre-ops in order of who came from the fartherest away. (You should go early). Someone from the office (Her name was when I went) will weigh you and put you in a room for Dr. R to visit with you. He will come in and again give you the opportunity to ask him any questions. It really only last a couple of minutes - but he does not rush you - if you have questions prepared. You are in for a treat - Dr. R is cute as he can be. He has a huge smile, a terrific sense of humor and compassion beyond compare. It was easy for me to see why everyone is so crazy about him. One of my favorite parts was older pre-ops stopping in. There was one woman who stopped in who was 1 year and 3 months post op - She looked fabulous. She had started at about 240 and now weighs about 135. She was about 50 years old, I guess. she had a georgous tan and smile she couldn't wipe away. There was a guy in there who was 1 year+ post op who must have lost nearly 200 lbs. He had pre-op pictures to pass around. It was amazing.-- And it is great to get to mingle with a bunch of people you have been talking to online. I think the clinic requirement is just one of the elements that makes Dr. R's practice so successful. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!
