Teaching a child to stop a behavior

Hello,

My son is a fantastic imitator, especially of bad behavior. We are now

having a problem where, my son will see someone being the class clown, and he

will repetitively imitate them, disrupting, centers, circle time etc. The other

children will calm down, or can be told to stop, by my son does not have the

capacity to understand this is unacceptable behavior, or not to repeat it

throughout the whole day.

Any ideas?
