I am back - but my insurance will not cover

Hi,

I came back from my trip to Germany a week early - the stress there

was enough to make me change my plans. I won't go into details, just

the kind of every day little nags that go on in families.

When I got home, I had a big disappointment: there was a letter from

my insurance company (Aetna/US Healthcare) telling me that would not

cover the surgery in NC. They gave me the names of 2 doctors in NYC

(Mount Sinai Medical Center) that perform a lap.

I was so bummed out - my hopes were so high that I would have Dr. R

do it, especially after talking to so many wonderful people in this

group.

At this point I guess I'll contact the doctors at Mount Sinai. I

have no idea what kind of reputation they have etc. etc. From what I

read on their website, one has to make an appointment with them first

and see them. Oh well, who ever said life was going to be easy? No

such thing.

Anyway, thought I'd share this info - don't know what else to say.

Maybe I'll visit the chat room later on.......
