Guest guest
" My son is only on 1 1/2 teaspoon per day & although I only make 1 quart at a time, I am having to throw most of it away. " , You can use the rest of the yogurt for baking or cooking. Once the yogurt is heated the beneficial bacteria die and you are left with a delicious ingredient for cooking that will not be problematic for increasing die-off. You can make cream soups or use it in baked goods as well. And I agree with Carol's answer. You should be able to eat it if you want to as long as you aren't allergic. Guest guest
Hi, I've posted this one already, but never got a final answer. My husband & myself are not on SCD but we are sensitive to diary (phlegm build up and/or soft stools) & have cut out most diary from our diets. Because my son is only eating 1 1/2 tsp of goat yogurt per day, I was wondering if we could eat some of his. Because of the strong bacteria in the yogurt, do we also need to start with a small qty & build up or can we start with any qty? Thanks
Guest guest
, The answer is that it will depend on the individual. If you have taken a lot of antibiotics or have a tendency to get yeast infections, then you might want to start slowly as well. Otherwise, you can start with a regular serving.
