Guest guest
CJHILLI, Oh, noo! That is our worst nightmare. I empathisize with you. This time my doctor said yes, however the time before he sent in a little nurse practitioner to motivate me. She told me she knew just how I felt. She too had had a wt. problem after the birth of her child. She had 20 lbs to lose and had to diet and exercise for 6 weeks to lose it. So you see I know what you are going through. This was several years ago, I would not go back. Finally I did as you did and had all the material for the MGB in a binder. I answered all his questions and showed him where to find the answers in the manual. He also wanted me to give it one more try. He would not give me medication as that has poor results and the wt is gained when you stop, so I was told. I was able to convince him though. So I feel fortunate for that. But your experience is what I feared would happen to me. My heart goes out to you. I did have a contingency plan. I was able to find some others in my area that had wls, I found out who there doctors were and I would have changed to another dr. if I had needed to. Best of luck Darlene >
