Well, a, you certainly have a stellar doctor with Dr Kolb !

Part of those chest and arm pains could be from all the chest trauma

and nerves waking back up. I was told that that wouldnt happen after

a year, but I have to say, about 5 years after my last chest surgery

all of a sudden, I started having all kinds of sensations in my arms and

chest,,,,,,,and an awakening of nerves and feeling......its not all back, but

I have alot back.......and I still have some of that burning and odd feeling

but it is not as bad as it was........so, you just never know.....

Hi gg,

Yes, Neurontin is a prescription drug. Not sure what neuromins is? I think these are two different things. I know Rogene used to tell people to get off neurontin all the time when she was posting here.

My biggest problems are I have extremely dry burning; pinching at the rims of my eyes and my skin on my chest area and down my arms burns (feels like it’s been ripped off). I had an ‘en bloc’ explant done with Dr. Melmed in May 2009 (saline, Meghan, textured). I have since learned he did not remove all of the capsule on the post op report. One doctor I’ve contacted says to try anti-fungals and anti-biotics. I am currently doing this for about a week. I don’t know how long it would take to work (if it does). The pain goes up and down but never goes away. It is equal on both sides. Is this fibromyalgia or is it a bacterial/fungal infection? I did have a similar pain once when I had a root canal so it seems like it would be a bacterial infection but other family doctors say it is fibromyalgia. Do I need to have the rest of the capsule taken out in order to get better? I can barely make it through work with the excruciating pain. I find myself going into almost anxiety attacks and crying all the time from this pain. I’m on Neurontin (21000mg, Celebrex, Nexium and now Cipro and Nizoral). Can anyone please help me?
