Guest guest
" are we supposed to be peeling and seeding figs (there's nothing left)? " Should we be seeding zucchini and cucumber? " Figs are dried fruits and are not typically introduced until all GI symptoms are under control. If the zucchinis are the really large one with the tough seeds, then I would remove them early in the diet. The same is true for the cucumber. Although I never really did find many way that my kids would eat cooked cucumbers. Jody mom to -6 and -8 SCD 30 months
Guest guest
Jody, My health food store had fresh figs and I bought a few boxes. I did peel them, but couldn't seed them, so I cooked them as they were. I have been cooking cucumber as well, believe it or not, in soup. It's not too bad. I just don't know how far to take the peeling and seeding. It's a pain in the neck to parboil, peel, then seed a tomato before using it. I'm lookin to do the minimum, since Eli is going to have to carry this on in school. a H. > " are we supposed to be peeling and seeding figs (there's nothing left)?
