Guest guest
, Over the years, there have been MANY,MANY thousands of women who have fibromyalgia from breast implants. In fact, it is now recognized by the medical field that implants can do this. Check out this article called " Bad News for Breast Implants " from WebMD: http://www.webmd.com/news/20010518/bad-news-for-breast-implants This study appeared in the Journal of Rheumatology. We also realize, based on the many experiences of the women in this group that you don't have to have ruptured breast implants to experience the debilitating pain of fibromyalgia. Since all breast implants are made of silicone, the exposure to the shell alone can allow this condition to occur. Patty > > Do any of you feel as though you have fibromyalgia bought on from the shock of implant illness ? And if so do you take drugs for this ? ALSO when taking any other type of drugs, lets say a sleeping pill or even a diet pill do you feel your pain gets worse ? >

Guest guest
The book, Eat to Live, by Dr. Fuhrman is very helpful. Here's a quote from his website; http://drfuhrman.com/disease/WomensHealth.aspx " Many women suffer chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Chronic disability, fatigue and painful bodily symptoms affect over 5 million American women. Tender spots most commonly occur in the neck, spine, shoulders and hips. Headaches, widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue are epidemic. These complaints have a combination of causes, but they are primarily caused by decreased oxygenation of tissue, excess deposits of waste products in the tissues with resultant inflammation and nutritional deficiencies. The Eat To Live program of nutritional excellence is an effective remedy for these common complaints. I have treated hundreds of patients with chronic migraine headaches, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and have seen rewarding and predictable results. It is the rare exception that a complete recovery cannot be achieved. Health is the product of healthful living. You do not have to be sick and suffer with pain, weakness, fatigue, disability and disease the rest of your life. The miraculous self-healing body that we have can restore you to normalcy. If the optimal environment for healing is established, then the body does the fixing. It may take some time. You may feel ill adjusting to high-nutrient eating, but in time spectacular recoveries are the norm. " There's hope. Here's a link to the food plan guidelines and LOTS of wonderful recipes. http://www.fatfreevegan.com/etl.shtml Hugs of support, M. There's hope.
