Guest guest
Hi Sheila My skin is so sensitive that most of the time I can use nothing. The 5% glycerin in water that I mentioned to you is the thing I can tolerate most. You used 50% which you reacted to. It may be that, for you, this concentration is way too much. There is no way that I could tolerate a 50% solution but the 5% I can tolerate most of the time. I make it up in very small amounts because of it not containing any preservatives and keep it in the fridge in an atomiser bottle. Hazel Tried the glycerin and this is what happened. > OK, alot of people suggested to mix glycerin with water and apply it. So last night I did half and half. When I applied it, my face looked fine. The next morning my right cheek looked a little irritated. I washed my face and started to apply my makeup and wham my face flared up horrible. Same makeup I've been using too. So now I think that I can't use glycerin. All the products I've used in the past that I had flared from had glycerin in the top 4 ingredients. So does this mean I have a problem with glycerin. My cleanser has glycerin as its second ingredient, but I have no problem with that, is that because I wash it off. Don't know what to do. When I use products with oils, they make myskin feel dryer and leathery. I don't think I have any hope on finding anything. What do yall think? > > Sheila
