Hello all...

I have been meaning to write this message ever since I came back from

vacation but kept forgetting.. Well, I have been working on updating the

" Litter Mates " page for the last 3 hours andam totally exhausted but knew if

I didn't write it now, I would just keep forgetting.. Anyway, many of us

have problems with rawness under various parts of our bodies such as under

the belly/breasts, between the legs, etc.. Well, I have a solution that my

mother taught me while i was visiting with her.. She works in a hospital and

they use deodorant on their patients with this problem.. Nothing fancy..

Just whatever you use everyday normally.. If you are anything like me, you

need antiperspirant/deodorant combination so, that is perfect... But, i have

been using it ever since I came home and have not have a raw/sore spot yet..

Of course, please make sure you don't have any kind of raw/sore spots when

you put the deodorant on it because it is likely to make it worse.. It's a

neat little trick and it makes ya smell good too... :) Hope this helps!

In my thoughts and prayers,

Terri

ok... now it's off to bed for me... :)

Dear Theresa,

I would worry about an antiperspirant. It has been shown in

studies to produce cancers under your arms when it is used there.

There is a reason for sweating, so I would not recommend putting

antiperspirant anywhere, except if you HAVE to use it under your

arms. (Even then there is a natural deodorant put out by the TOMS

company and found in most Health Food Stores) Off my soapbox

now...lol I have used monistat cream for these areas, since you are

fighting a yeast overgrowth. What 's mom recommends sounds even

better and less messy.

Love,

Still waiting to be on the other side

Vagisil powder works wonders for this too. It has an anti fungal

ingredient

and works like a charm for me. I can only go about 3 days without it

before

I have a problem.
