,

Bless you for working on this day....and all of you that are out

there working your OTHER job outside the home. I selfishly have to

say I am so glad I dont work as a nurse anymore and today I turned my

ringer off on my business phone. I really hated missing family

things. It is so hard when the rest of the family on both sides

have " normal " hours and never had to miss anything.

I know someone has to do it. I drove by the nursing home I started

volunteer work at age 14 and told my kids yesterday.

I figured I paid my dues after 25 yrs of volunteer and paid work in

the health care field. I loved it ..just not the politics nor the

crazy hours. I still work crazy hours BUT I choose when I want to

work weekends or holidays.
