Update... Odor still there... :(

Well I started zinc cream, epsom salt baths and sent him to school in new, never

worn clothing, to rule out the laundry factor, yesterday. She said odor was not

there. Then today, sent him in washed clothing, odor was there. Today I

rewashed everything in his closet and made sure I removed from washer promptly

and am line drying so we'll see how tomorrow goes.

But, since someone mentioned an acidic ph from a higher protein diet could cause

strange BO (and maybe a strange chemical reaction with the scent in the

detergent??), I tested his urine tonight and it was very acidic... 5.5 or 5.8.

I will test in the am as well but eesh what should I do? Maybe mineral water or

something? I can't overdo the fruit or his GI tract goes haywire... I may be

getting ahead of myself but it is concerning me. Still no ketones detected...

I feel so silly even talking about this - I know so many have more serious

problems... I sure appreciate all the suggestions and help. Really, I do.

another thought -- could this just be a bit of gas he

is expelling? I have heard the charcoal seat cushions

are a wonder for the problem, but don't know where to

get them. Good luck! Hope this will be solved soon for
