Guest guest
> Without driving an hour to Ann Arbor Do you know anything about pediatric GI's in Ann Arbor? We're going to one at the U of M for a second opinion (is a conservative approach to meds also appropriate?) in a few weeks. I realize pediatrics are different than adults but my local GI is reluctant to reduce my 13 y.o.'s steroids since I'm refusing Imuran. (He is on Pentasa.) He's also concerned because his C-reactive protein is so high, but it's hard for me to interpret the numbers since the 2 tests my son had done were in 2 different labs with 2 different reference ranges. The first was 125 with a range of less than 9. The recent one was 1.6 with a range of less than 0.8. Obviously his numbers are high, but they've also come down, and I would like to think SCD has something to do with it. Does anyone have any insights on the numbers? Thanks and take care, Fay
