Guest guest
We are just beginning down this road. Five kids ranging from three to 16... our three boys are like raising one Brad Pitt and two Barney Fife's side-by-side, which is to say, one ADHD, two Asperger's. We've gotten test results back on two of the three and are waiting on the results from the third. Our ADHD had 29 food allergies and insensitivities, and one of our Aspie's had 35. He was allergic to everything we tested! My guess is that he's CD, but pediatrician is reluctant to test (although all the kids have been on a lifetime supply of antibiotics, steriods and asthma meds... kinda makes it hard to trust conventional medicine, given what I've learned!) Here's my question. I can find almost NO recipes that don't have ingredients they're not allergic to. Not on the internet, not in GF cookbooks. Allergies include rice, dairy, eggs, corn, chicken, lamb, wheat, soy, almond, cashew, peanuts, tomato. Having a family of seven has made all this very, very discouraging. Nothing like cooking 21 meals a week from scratch only to have none of them want to eat. Encourage me, please!!?? Where can I find a few good recipes?? Thanks, Sara
