Guest guest
Does anyone here have two DAN doctors or sought the opinion of a second DAN doctor to make sure the first was doing everything possible to help their child? Overall, we are very pleased with our DAN doc. My 3 yro son was diagnosed in May 05 so we are just getting all the meds and supplements in effect. Since time is so precious at a young age to get help started, I feel that I should get a 2nd opinion from another DAN doctor to make sure my son has the best possible chance at recovery. We wouldn't necessarily run new tests, just have a new doc review the results we already have. Please advise. Thank you,
Guest guest
Absolutely. I'm not strongly hooked up with any DAN doc at the moment, but I've worked with 4 (two often simultaneous) different ones over the years and, believe me, they were DIFFERENT. While there is a DAN protocal there really isn't any consistency to how it's applied and they all see aspects of the protocal a little bit or a lot differently. So, if you're up to it, no matter how great your DAN doc is a second opinion is very worth it----if you ask me.
