I feel that God has a path for all of us to walk, He won't let you wander on the bumpy path for long. I live in the area, please call if you would just like to talk. I'm a big (small joke?) animal lover too and have a house full of rescued animals. Oh, my vet told me that there are rescue groups that will take animals and keep them in foster homes until a good, permanent home can be found. She could give you names and probably numbers (she's in Chapel Hill) if you need them. My boys are grown, so my dogs and cats are now my babies. Please let us all know how your dogs are doing, and if you've found homes for them. (I'm still working on my dear husband about taking one of your dogs.) He is a dear man, he's allergic to cats -- we have 5 house cats. He suffers fairly silently. And, the cats love him.
