Guest guest
Hi Gang, Sorry for the cross-posting but I needed to reach as many of 'my family' as I could at one time. I'd like to ask any who are inclined...and I know there are many...to pray for my father. He is 76 and had a heart attack late last night. Today the doctor says he's OK but he's keeping him in the hospital till at least tomorrow. He wants him monitored today to see what develops. My Dad had a stroke several years ago and cannot speak well and sometimes not at all which makes the monitor essential. He might not be able to tell them when something hurts him or when somethings not right with him. I'm off to the hospital again, just thought I'd take a minute to ask for prayers. We all know there are times in our lives when one of us or our loved ones need them more than we do at the moment. Lately this list has brought death close to us more times than we want to think about and the only thing I can say about it, is that it is the biggest reality check there could be, for us or for anyone. I thank God that I tell my parents almost every day that I love them. They know how I feel about them and them about me. I try to live every day as if it would be the last without one of my folks, but this time reality whalloped me a good one. Guess I wasn't as prepared as I thought I would be. Guess none of us really are. Thank you and God Bless, Hugs, Rose
