Hello Jackie ~

Welcome to the group ! I am sorry you are beginning to get symptoms.

For many, it starts out slow like that......and yes, what you are describing

is ditto many of the girls.....

Silicone that is manufactured for implants have some 40 neuro-toxic

chemicals that go into the making of them. This disrupts the entire

endocrin system. How long it takes depends on your immune system

versus implant lot numbers, versus your genetics.

I am glad you are researching to find your answers.

Please read in the archives, and look at photos and ask

all the questions you can think of....we will help you the best

we can.

Hugs N Prayers ~

New member with saline implants

Hello, my name is Jackie and I got saline breast implants about five years ago. I am not nearly as sick as some of the cases I have read about on here but I am having a few symptoms. Also this of course worries me for the future because I see that some of you didn't have symptoms until ten years later! Anyway, I had a baby about two years ago and I don't know if these symptoms I am having could be hormones or I am on a medication that could be making me feel this way. My symptoms are just not feeling good ever. I am always tired, I have to take a nap every day and I don't work or do any strenuous activity that would make me feel this way. I get very tired and naseus and if I don't lie down I feel weak and like I'm going to pass out. I am not sure if the implants could be causing this but I'm definetly going to keep it in the back of my mind. I feel for all of the women who are getting so sick from their implants. I hope you all start to feel better very soon.

Most of us were never " sure " it was our implants making us ill, but it was our

intuition that guided our decisions. Many blood tests come back normal, but how

can we possibly be normal when we feel like we are dying?

It is after removal and the regaining of healthy function again that it becomes

apparent how devasting the implants can be. Occasionally there are a few women

who do have abnormal blood work that steadily improves, and that serves as some

very vital proof of how they were affected by the implants. For one woman I

know, her thyroid antibodies were through the roof, and mysteriously dropped

after explant. Today, she has gone on to live a vibrant and wonderful life, with

the addition of two more babies, and no more signs of terrible illness!

Keep us informed of your concerns should you feel the need to do more

research...it sounds to me like your implants are wreaking havoc with your body.

I hope you don't wait to long to decide what you need to do to stop the

destruction before it gets too far along. We just want the best for you, and

our experience on this group shows us that life without implants is the best way

to go.

Take care,

Patty

Patty ~

In my experience, and I have had a long 20 year history of experience and some 22 surgeries

later.....

When the immune system is compromised like ours is, the normal responses do not work

properly any longer. It is because our bodies are working so hard on the foreign material

it has nothing left to fight normal things. That would be body temperature, anti-inflammatory

responses and the many normal tests they use for these things.

In 9-05 when I had double pneumonia, 2 liters of fluid in my lungs, a heart twice the normal

size that was shutting down, and kidney and liver failure, I had been to the doctor a month

before cuz I felt so bad, and I was perfectly normal with normal blood tests........which once

more was indicating .......It was in my head....

WRONG.......

I did not have a fever

I did not have a high white count

I did not have a high ESR or Sed Rate a typical inflammatory test

My CRP was only 1 so it showed only slight

( I did have high heart enzymes and kidney functions, pee looked like coffee)

and liver function ) by that point, they were all shutting down.)

So, that doesnt mean I was normal....cuz I was within 15 minutes of death so they said....

That means my normal functions werent working !

So, when you get that blood test that is so normal when you feel so bad

it just may be because your Normal functions are NOT normal....and not working.....

Trust your instincts, know your body inside out, research everything you can

learn so you can ask questions, journal so you can keep track....

Dont trust everything you read either, be sure you read lots of opinions, and

remember lots of what you find and read are actually advertisements...

or part of their selling points of their products. Some is good info, and some

is not....I usually read from all the usual, Harvard, Stanford, Mayo, Cleveland

clinic, Oxford, etc, and I also read medical articles in journals and

Public Med. and others like Lancet, Jama, and others...

Dede
