Guest guest
I have had breast implants for a little over 2 years and in that time I have had to go through multiple (5) surgeries for complications...the first was about 3 months after implants were put in. Left breast got an infection, the PS took it out and cleaned the area and then put it (the same) implant back in...fast forward a bit and now the two breast look different in size and shape. I ended up having right implant replaced to match left implant...seems my left boob grew and the implant replaced was 30ccs bigger. Now we come to August 2009, my first day of school and I come home exhausted and feeling bad. I open my shirt to change at the gym and my left breast is huge!!! I go to the PS and he gives me keflex and cipro for 7 days....about 5 days after treatment the same thing happens and I go back to PS and again he puts me on Cipro and Keflex......then again after a couple of days it happens again.....now we have a date to take the implants out. I want them both out and new ones put in....By the way I have paid for all these surgeries except the one 3 months after with the infection. 3 weeks after the implants are out I get new ones put in, the date is Nov 2 2009, by Nov 6 I am back having the(new) left implant area worked on because of fluid buildup and possible infection, PS cleans area and tells me that there was not very much fluid. Today Nov 29th after the Nov 6 cleaning I am still having pain and the implant is still swollen and the bruising that happened to be all the way down to my pubic area is almost gone. The PS stiched the wound in a strange way. It is not right under my breast it is about 1/4 of an inch away from the bottom. This has cause the implant to ride higher on my chest and the lower part of my chest looks very weird. I am so sick of all this and the comments he has made pertaining to my situation. In other words he has no expanation for all my problems, I am just a difficult situation. I have come to the point of wanting to sue him for all the surgeries that I have paid for, the loss of work, the emergency room and the urgent care center....and most of all the emotional pain and suffering. I have been weight training for about 30 years and I looked like I could compete in figure and that was my plan........now after not being able to train for this long I have lost all the hard work I put into myself.....I am so miserable and I don't know who to turn to. Please advise me on what I could possibly do. By the way my PS is a top surgeon and he was chief of surgery at a nearby hospital for 7 years.
