Guest guest
hi patty; started a message that didnt go thru! i thot it erased. anyway, hope youre feeling better on the hot flashes - i notice i get them at times due to foods that dont agree - i've also been told cause is low adrenal. i'd say more vit c. or antioxidants, esp. after a suspect food. i've been told at the EHC in tx. also that tri-salt helps with food allgy. good luck. gg Hot Flashes I am having an awful....JUST AWFUL...time with HOT flashes!!!!!Can anyone tell me how they overcame them, if you dealt with them?I am using bio-identical hormones, but these hot flashes are just making me a little crazy!!!I haven't had time to read up much on it lately, with my heavy physics homework. If you have any insight, please share,Thanks,Patty
Guest guest
Yes, I've gotten them occasionally. I have Babesia also and it causes a feverish feeling and chills and nightmares (like Malaria I assume). Guest guest
Hot flashes like a flushed face/neck/chest? I get a flushed face sometimes, I've been told that could be a sign of anemia (and may occur during that time of month) lyme related though. And it does mostly happen to me during my week. I've also been told that it could be from herx. I also have babesia/babesiosis and this messes with your body temperature. The classic symptom is night sweats. I mean drenching sweats (worse than hot flashes). Night sweats were mostly around my abdomen and lower body, i associate hot flashes with face/neck/chest area. > > Has anyone had hot flashes from Lyme disease? > > Sent from my iPad >

Guest guest
I went through an menopause early (pre-Lyme) and hadn't had hot flashes for many years--until Lyme got bad last year. I just finished 13 months of antibiotics (including 4 months IV) and now have occasional hot flashes and heart palpitations which seemed to start up when going on a Candida diet and taking Oregano Oil and Olive Leaf Complex (to kill the yeast). I do know that Lyme effects the endocrine system--possibly blocking hormone receptors (don't know where I read that). Kim [ ] Hot flashes Has anyone had hot flashes from Lyme disease? Guest guest
This is like a regular hot flash like you would get from menopause. I've just been tested for babesosia or however you spell it. The hot flashes are ruining my sleep and exasperating all my other symptoms. Not good. Sent from my iPad
