Guest guest
Hi everyone, My son was on the SCD from 1/04 to 3/05. It did help him some, but his BMs did not improve at all. It helped with hi sensory issues and hyperactivity. Tests show that he has no yeast, but I disagree. We ventured to a GF, soy free, low casein ang sugar diet with the help of Houston Enzymes. He has been chelating for almost 4 months now, and I think his system will be better able to heal on the SCD now that the metals are leaving his system. enjoys a variety of SCD muffins. I have not yet found a cookie that he will eat. He has a difficult time at school because several children in his class use chips ang cookies as reinforcers. He will eat fruits, but no veggies unless I hide them. He has a HUGE appetite. I have a hard time filling his luchbox with enough food to keep him happy and full and not envious of the other kids. He had been known to try and sneak others foods. The only lunch food he will eat are chicken or turkey tots. Does anyone have any suggestions especially in the crunchy sweet area. Thanks. We will try yogurt in a few weeks. Thanks again, Regina mom to 6, ASD scd 2nd time around 3 days with 1 accident at Grandmas and no die off yet. also mom to 8, Kayla 4 and a
