Mimi,

I wonder what Elaine would have to say about the 'eat right for your

blood type' diet? It claims that people with blood type A usually

have lower stomach acid (therefore do better without animal protein),

and also for reasons having to do with evolution (they became the

farmers and adapted their diets), do better on a vegetarian diet.

with some grains. It makes me wonder. I know my son (blood type A)

always preferred whole grains, beans and vegetables to meats, if

preference an indication of anything. I am a blood type O, had been

a 'whole foods lacto ovo vegetarian' for many years, and feel better

with some meats in my diet now. I do, however, think a good bowl of

oatmeal gets those poops moving, in a healthy person. Just my two

cents.
