Guest guest
Hi Maxine, I think the answer to your question is a little broader. If a condition that causes pain (and maybe other symptoms) the question is the dehabilitation level of both the pain and anything used as an analgesic to relieve the pain. Like does the level of recurrent pain prevent driving? Or recreation?, or being at a workplace? serving jury duty?, grocery shopping?, etc. In other words, can you show the inability to function as a reasonably normal person due to a level of pain or medication. In addition there are other things to satisfy like 1. Are possible benefits due to you from past employment or being related to FICA paying employee?, 2. What was your past employment and does the pain prevent you from you doing that or similar work? 3. What is the prognosis of recovery? Maybe others on this board can add to (or correct) my comments.
