Guest guest
hi dede; wondering if anyone has trouble with teeth - they are often an overlooked source of problem - i have root canals, and just today found out 3 are re-infected. dentist took x-rays (the teeth didnt hurt - he just panned the whole mouth) and informed me they could cause all kinds of problems with immune system, even heart. i was really surprised that many were reinfected or in some cases, infected, with no pain. he said for the most part, that gutta percha they fill the teeth with doesnt come out. have you or anyone heard different? he was going to look into it, but doubted it. i know health oriented dentists recommend pulling, but i dont like the options of pulling either. implant (metals- tho he said they were coming out soon w'out hopefully), or partial . bridge too, but to me thats worse. i dont like the idea of having to take partials out at nite or for brushing. any ideas from you or anyone on this? thanks, dede. i always hope youre feeling better. gg DGrahamA@...From: DGRAHAMA@...Date: Mon, 26 Apr 2010 12:16:06 -0400Subject: Very Important for Everyone......... Guest guest
GG, Yes, teeth problems are big with implanted people. Not sure why, but most people I know have alot of teeth problems...... Hopefully others will chime in on this one... Teeth affect many body parts, and affect the heart greatly. Silent infections is big with root canals....and can be dangerous. I have alot of those, and no dental coverage. Living on disability does not leave any money to see a dentist, especially when I have so many other vital problems with my heart and lungs.....I have to prioritize...... Wishing you well with your new dental journey, I hope it all works well for you.......depending on how many problems you had with implants would be the decision maker on if I got implanted teeth or bridges.....I think they do make permanent bridges too, but no telling what they are made of... Maybe have heavy metal testing before you decide and see what your current load is...also maybe that HLA typing to see what genes can be turned on by further implantation...that way you will know what you may face should you choose the implants. Our sister Lynda had lots of BI problems from massive silicone rupture, but also had the teeth implants if I recall properly, and had no known problems with those..... Unless that is what lowered her immunity for the lung cancer to set in..... Wishing wellness for you ~ Dede Very Important for Everyone......... Guest guest
Ah gg, I have experience with this subject my dear! I had root canals in 2005 and within months I was limping with pain in my right knee. I could not figure out what had happened or why I was having this horrible pain, until my holistic dentist's wife suggested I read the book " Root Canal Cover Up " by Meinig, and that answered all my questions. I went to San Diego to have the root canals pulled by a qualified dentist (there is a right way and a wrong way to pull teeth) and within a few weeks, my knee pain totally cleared up and it has never returned. I know now that my body cannot tolerate root canals. I will never get another one. As for the pulled teeth, (there were two lower left molars), I do miss them of course, but I got a partial and it is not a problem at all. I don't mind having to remove it at night. However, I have chosen in the last few months just not to wear it at all, and I am totally comfortable with that. But having it is nice, as I can put it in whenever I choose to, and I don't have any worries about having metal in my jawbones from implants. I doubt I will ever get implants at this point. There is a dentist in Las Vegas that uses non-metal implants, and my holistic dentist is suggesting I consider implants using these new metal free options, but at this point, I am not rushing to spend the money when I am totally fine with my current status. It is a hard choice, but I firmly believe and know based on my experience that removing rotten root canals can help with attaining better health. The options are difficult, but in hindsight, I can say without batting an eye, I'm much happier having a working and pain free knee. Good luck. Guest guest
hi patty; yes, i've heard all the negatives about root canals - i've also heard as long as they arent infected, they may be ok. its a big controversy. i just dont like the options after the teeth are pulled. implants are very expensive - theyre also fairly new so who knows what negatives they may have down the road - but i need info. like yours to help decide. i wish theyd hurry up with stem cell in this area - but got to wondering if that would put dentists out of work, and if so, i wonder if it will ever be heard about much even if it does work. (we all know about coverups where a lot of money is concerned).. what dentist did you see in san diego? are you saying right and wrong way to pull a tooth because of doing a cavatation after pulling the tooth? what is your partial made of? (seems like they cant get anything lasting in dentistry w/out sticking metal in somewhere). thanks patty - youre always a big help to everyone. gg From: glory2glory1401@...Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 13:57:30 +0000Subject: Re: Very Important for Everyone......... Guest guest
hi dede; if you have a lot of infection in teeth, maybe just have them removed - if cost an issue there is suppose to be a few dentist in mexico who come recommended that do low cost good work. you could talk to their offices - i can look up names if youre interested. dental implants are very expensive - i wouldnt go that route now anyway for me - but partials might work (patty replied to me she likes hers) - infection may be affecting your heart. i have to decide what to do - the more info. one can get the better decision - so am still trying to get info. from people whove 'been there' thanks dede. gg From: DGRAHAMA@...Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2010 08:42:59 -0400Subject: Re: Very Important for Everyone.........
