Guest guest
I've had two saline implants rupture and March 19th had the last removed after having to leave it in my body for 4 years because couldn't afford to have it removed. I now have to see an oncologist every six months. I'd be more than happy to speak with this reporter if it would get the message out that implants can be a life long health concern and possibly disabling for some unfortuntate woman. What we do in our twenties and thirties will eventually scare the living crap out of us in our fifties when we have children we want to see marry and have families and we are fighting with symptoms because of the implants that are destroying our health. I'm 52 years old and I didn't have the benefit of the internet and sites like this one to provide me with the information that can be valuable in deciding if you want to take the risk with your future health by getting implants. Women today should be given ALL the details and go in knowing exactly what COULD be ahead of them if they decide that appearance is more important than health. Guest guest
You know whats sad, on the Doctors today, that Dr Drew Ordon was talking about how safe implants are, especially the new and improved silicone, and he said " Some implants last a lifetime " and he listed other amounts of time but as soon as I heard that statement, I forgot everything else..........it is disgusting that he is selling breast implants on TV,n and selling his services to have them put in ......it should be outlawed ! ! and he should be in trouble ! Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I get angry at this doctor too. He is certainly doing women a disservice. I watched the Doctors a few months back when they were recommending that women who carry the gene for breast cancer, consider having a double mastectomy with replacement silicone implants. I thought to myself, these women are trading one life threat for another. I don't watch this show much anymore. Guest guest
I had breast cancer in 2007. Because I got informed by joining Saline Support and also breast cancer support groups, I chose to avoid implants. I wish other BC patients would seek out more information prior to making their decisions. It seems too many of them only listen to and trust their plastic surgeons... Hugs of support, M. > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Lea <leamary@...> > > Sent: Mon, April 12, 2010 7:03:09 PM > Subject: Re: New York Sisters ... reporter looking to speak with you > >  > > Darling Dede: > > He has done this before, and I became so angry that I said that I would never watch that show again.
