Guest guest
~ Drain tubes are good becuse they keep the swelling down....and also the debris in the fluid moves on out of you instead of pooling inside of you and also your body having to work to remove it. Guest guest
hey , the pain is not as bad as getting implants. And YES the first thing I noticed (other than having the shakes from anestheia) is that I could breathe!!! Ive had a reaction to the vicodin and started itching last night so didnt sleep at all. Called my ps and he called me in some darvecet hubby gone to get the script now. At first my PS told me I wouldnt have to have the drains, then yesterday morning when I got to the hospital he said that I would have to have them. to be honest Im glad I do cause ive got alot of fluids coming out in the drains, Id hate to think of all that inside me. The only thing is I didnt expect the extra incisions where he put them in they are at they bottom but more in my sides. But Im getting a good amount of fluids so even tho they are a pain Im glad that they are in there. Hopefully getting them out on tuesday. Just depends on how much is still draining off. I look so much more normal. Im so happy to have them out!! and start a detox program after my gallbladder surgery in 3 wks. Guest guest
Patty, Drink a lot of fluids to replenish what you're losing. Eat lot of foods that enriches your blood.....eat a big steak! Coconut water is good! Benefits of coconut water Coconut Water Hydrates the BodyCoconut water is an isotonic solution which replaces the fluids and minerals that the body loses during physical activities. For this reason, many athletes and persons who work out regularly are encouraged to drink coconut water to replace all the minerals and fluid that they lose while working out. Even the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) attest to the benefits of drinking coconut water when it fought for a patent in 2000 to market coconut water as the next big sports drinks. Coconut Water Relieves Urinary ProblemsIf you consume coconut water on a regular basis it can reduce urinary problems. People who suffer from strangury, polyutra and other urinary ailments drink coconut water to relieve their symptoms. Coconut Water Kills Intestinal WormsDrinking coconut water with one teaspoon of olive oil for three days will kill intestinal worms and clear the stomach of worms, which makes for better digestion. Coconut Water Breaks up Kidney StonesPeople who have kidney problems and are plagued by kidney stones should drink coconut water in addition to taking their medication. Drinking coconut water regularly helps to break up kidney stones making them easier to push out. Coconut Water is Used in Blood Transfusion Coconut water is almost identical to blood plasma and this makes it easy to use for blood transfusion. In cases of emergency coconut water has been used as an intravenous hydration fluid instead of the standard IV fluid. During WWII many wounded soldiers were saved in the Pacific because of emergency transfusion using coconut water as plasma. Coconut Water is an Antibacterial Coconut water contains monolaurin an antiviral, antibacterial and antiprozoal monoglyceride that is used to kill lipid-coated viruses such as HIV, Herpes, cytomegalovirus, flu and various pathogenic bacteria. Taking coconut water regularly aids in flushing the liver, since it contains lauric acid (a crystalline fatty acid. Source: coconut, laurel oils) which gives it anti-microbial properties and makes it suitable for treatment of some liver ailments like hepatitis. It is known by many experts that coconut water contains the following supplements needed to sustain life:- glucose: which acts as sugar for energy in the body when taken- vitamin Bs: for replenishment of worn out cells and tissues- vitamin C: to shield the body form ailments like scurvy - potassium: which helps in lowering arterial blood pressure Most importantly, coconut water acts as a detoxifying agent; and potentially the strongest antidote against any form of poison infusion in the body. One health benefit that have in the past saved many poison victims by neutralizing the effect of the poison in the blood. If administered for about 40 days, it flushes out the poison completely from the victim's blood stream.Sunny From: Patty DC <pattycanter@...> Sent: Fri, May 28, 2010 12:52:17 PMSubject: Re: Im explanted hey , the pain is not as bad as getting implants. Guest guest
You can get fresh coconut from your local market. They have them at Wholefoods too. You just need to ask them to cut it open for you as it's difficult to open them yourself and you can drink it with straw. Also, Wholefoods sells 100% coconut juice in carton, but I like drinking the fresh ones. Just get the ones without sugar and 100% natural without any additives. I am drinking one now. It is so refreshing. It will replensh all the liquid that you've lost and may get rid of all those toxins in your system too. My mom got really sick one time...diarreah and couldn't eat or drink anything (she is 78 years old) and the only thing she drank for 3 days was coconut juice and she recovered quickly. Take care! Guest guest
I forgot to mention that once you open the coconut whether fresh or in carton, it must be consumed within 24 hours for maximum benefit as nutritional value goes down quickly. Guest guest
Congratulations on your explant Patty! Yay!! I sure wish you didn't have to have that gallbladder surgery...can you put it off? There is a procedure called a gallbladder flush and also a liver flush that will cleanse out the gallbladder. Some people have successfully avoided surgery by doing the flush first, including Dr. Tan's father. Dr. Tan sometimes posts on our group. I'll see if I can find that post of his. Anyway, I am so happy for you that you are implant free now! I hope you have a quick and successful recovery from explant surgery, and that your healing from immune system dysfunction goes faster rather than slower. That part is the one that needs patience and tenacity to keep going with detoxing and having faith. I know you'll do great! Guest guest
HI , Not everyone gets drains. It really is up to the doctor you use, but it is highly recommended. Usually the best doctors will use drains, because they know why they are needed, and are not lazy about it.
