Guest guest
Hi, Can someone help me with a question about weight criteria for surgery. On one page on the www.clos.net site Dr. R says the criteria is 250-350. Another place it says not over 350, but doesn't mention a low figure. My BMI is 40, but my weight is 218....(OK, I am short. haha) Does he operate on folks of that weight? I have aching ankles, knees, heel, back problems, slightly elevated blood pressure, an EXTREMELY high incidence of Cancer in our family (Mother, 2 Aunts, 1 Great-Aunt, 1 uncle). My real problem is my quality of life. Because activity results in pain, I do very little exercise or walking. (And this exasterbates my problem.) Do ya think I qualify in Dr. R's eyes? Thanks for your feedback. Sherry Pre-op Virginia
