Good for you Liz! There is an unbelievable difference in treatment of the

obese in healthcare....and entertaiment......and.....

It's even worse for women(sorry guys) I chuckle to myself when we have a 260

lb female the guys grunt and sweat when lifting the cot and say " she was a

big one " ,but you get a 300 lb guy and my partners act like they're bench

pressing.....he's considered " manly " . Even my everloving hubby came home and

complained about anesthetizing an overweight woman(she was a difficult

intubation,and IV start)I asked how much she weighed and he said 250. I said

that's the first time I've heard you c/o a person's weight...she only weighs

20 lbs. more than me. And he's one of the most non-judgemental people I know!

I just work harder for the obese now,because I know what it's like!
