Guest guest
My son did great on the introductory diet where we saw improvements in stool odor, color and formation, as well as significant improvements in behavior and cognition. However, 10+ days into it he has begun getting dark circles under his eyes, has dropped weight, is hungry all the time and is complaining of stomache aches. I've added in cooked pears, apples, and squashes to the chicken, eggs, gelatin and broths. What should I do at this point? Continue to have him eat these things or go back to the introductory diet again? I don't want to let him eat just the protein like he wants, because he has liver problems and I don't want his diet to get low carb/high protein and stress his liver out further. Thanks, Colleen Mom2Mason 6yrs Autism -SCD 10+ days
