I was giving it to Evan every night IF he did not go to sleep by a

certain time. Now he is going to sleep way early and I am not giving

it to him right now.. I read a long time ago before I started using

it that if you seemed to be getting immune to it, DO NOT increase the

dosage but stop for awhile and then restart. Tried it and it worked

for us.

Our neurologist in Miami last week recommended a 30-40 mg dose of melatonin for sleep and said it may help with seizures our daughter is having about 60 a day.

,

My girls have seizures and I occasionally use Melatonin. But, I use it to help them sleep. Lindsey has major sleep issues (she's spoiled now and sleeping in our bed most of the night...) My neuro suggested we use it to help them sleep but, didn't mention anything about it helping the seizures. What did the article say about it? I'm curious.

I HAVE CROHN'S..BUT HAD BEEN USING MELATONIN FOR YEARS TO HELP SLEEP. I

AM NOW ON DRUGS TO SUPPRESS MY IMMUNE SYSTEM SINCE THEY BELIEVE THAT MY

IMMUNE SYSTEM WAS OVERACTIVE ..I CAN NOT USE MELATONIN NOW BECAUSE

MELATONIN ENHANCES YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM..MY IMMUNE SYSTEM IS ALREADY TO

ACTIVE ..IT DOES STATE THAT NOT TO USE MELATONIN FOR AUTO IMMUNE

DISEASES..IT IS A SHAME SINCE MELATONIN WORKED VERY WELL FOR ME..
