Guest guest
Hi, I'm glad that you have found better health and I appreciate what you've been through as I myself had my saline implants removed in March after having them for almost 18 years and having the right implant deflate on me twice. I had a large non-cancer tumour removed from that same breast when I had the implants removed and will be monitored closely now for the rest of my life because of it. Health problems have been many over the years, and until recently never realized they could possibly be the result of the implants. Nothing very serious but definitely disruptive to my life. Can you tell me if Methotrexate for autoimmune problems is a prescribed drug or can you buy it over the counter. Thanks and I pray for continued good health for us both (for all women with implants). Guest guest
Trish ~ Methotrexate is a chemo drug.....but also used for other things....Over the years in my experience in the med field, ( not a nurse, but doctor trained) I saw people it helped, and people it did not. http://www.drugs.com/methotrexate.html Please should you decide it is a medication for you read all you can about it, from every site you can find. Especially the professional ones, as they contain more info than the patient sites do. Then take a list of your questions to your doctor. You will need to have blood tests first to be sure you have no elevations in certain things, like liver functions . For those people that liked how it helped them.... They would ask for the treatment periodically, and for those that couldnt tolerate side effects they had, well, they swore they would never try it again for anything. So........this one is a 50/50 thing.......for some, they said nothing else worked, you will just have to study all you can on it and decide if you wanna give it a shot...... Dr Kolb in Atlanta has a whole detox protocol and there have been lots of people it has helped....... Hugs N Prayers ~ Dede Re: Checking in.. Guest guest
Hi, and thanks for coming back to share your update. It's always encouraging to hear from others who have been explanted and find out how they are doing...you are no exception! I'm so glad to hear that you are doing much better. I am a little curious and concerned about the drug you are taking, but if it is making your life more bearable, then for you, it's what you need. The fact that your constant fatigue is gone is fabulous! Congratulations on that! I love that you love your work...what are your online businesses? Loving what you do is one of the most important things you can be blessed with in life...who wants to go to a job they hate? So, you are definitely blessed! Thanks again for checking in with us! Guest guest
Methotrexate sounds like something to use as a last resort, doesn't it? There are so many other natural things to do first. If anyone else uses this drug, please report back to us about it. Thanks!
