Guest guest
I feel so fortunate. Yesterday, I told my father and siblings that I had decided to have the MGB. They were very supportive of my decision. They did not have one bad thing to say about it. Like previous discussions on here, I did not ask for permission but told them I wanted them to know what I was doing. I live in an area where everyone knows everyone else. I have told some people of my plan and I knew if I didn't tell them someone else would. If they heard about it from someone else their feelings would have been hurt. My father told me he has been very concerned about me and the wt.for a long time now and was happy for me. He even offered to help me with the cost. He lives very modestly on a fixed income and has his own health problems. I told him that I had that covered (thank goodness for the 401K) as a backup if insurance doesn't come through. It meant a lot to me that he offered. Just wanted to share some happy thoughts. My GERD is acting up and I can't sleep. Darlene
