Help! I have benzoyl peroxide burn!

Hi all: I hope someone can help me. I put benzoyl

peroxide on a forming pimple and unfortunately, it

irritated the heck out of my skin. My skin is now red

and raw and extremely rough and flaky. Can anyone

recommend a solution? Would a very short-term use

(less than a week) of steroid solution help?

Hydrocortisone cream (a few days now) doesn't seem to

be doing much. Thanks!
