Guest guest
I have had an enormous amount of health problems since undergoing surgery to have saline implants 18 months ago. It started with shortness of breath 6 weeks later, coughing up phlegm for over a year and the need for inhalers for onset of asthma, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, memory loss, brain fog, headaches, digestive problems including lower GI bleeding, now possible celiac. I have been to numerous doctors and of course no one knows any connection. I am definitely planning on having them removed at this point. Does anyone know of a doctor that specializes in women with these type of implant problems? I'm trying to avoid the brain MRIs, endoscopes, colonoscopes and all of the other things that have been recommended for me. I had NO health problems previous and always had great energy and awesome memory. I hate feeling this way.
Guest guest
Michele you are making a very smart decision! I too went from doctor to doctor and not one of them could tell me it was my implants mKing me sick. I just knew it had to be since my health had drastically changed since I got them. If you keep searching in this site or other sites there are recomemnded doctors all over the United States. I'm in Las Vegas. There isn't one here that is highly recomended but I found one who will do a good job doing a total capsulectomy. Whatever happens..don't let these doctors deter you away from getting them out like they did to me. I knew my implants were making me sick but I listened to the wrong people and now I've been waiting a looong 8 months and have to wait 6 more because I'm pregnant. GET THEM OUT before something else happens! I too had and still have many of the same symptoms you are having. I only wish there was some sort of test I could have taken before I got these things put in..my life was great..they weren't worth it. Good luck and like I said there are doctors all over and if you can travel a bit you will be able to find one that understands exactly what you're going through..hang in there! from my HTC Touch Pro2 on the Now Network from SprintĀ®. problems with saline implants I have had an enormous amount of health problems since undergoing surgery to have saline implants 18 months ago. Guest guest
I guess I don't understand why you are trying to avoid tests that don't involve radiation... I had an endoscope, both the GI doc and I thought we 'd find ulcers, and we found something totally unexpected (I am not having trouble with my implant - mastectomy due to breast cancer). Avoiding unnecessary radiation I can understand - but cameras that just take a look??? What harm is that? What if you have a coincidental problem? I have breast cancer. Doesn't mean I can't also have something else wrong with me that isn't related to the breast cancer. The other problem found is unrelated to breast cancer.
