We're drinking lots of Kool aid (sugar free) and eating sugar free pops. has been eating OJ pops, but I can't handle the sugar. I ventured out to the grocery store today to buy some bananas, watermelon and apples and some protein bars. Hopefully we can both keep some of the fruit down for potassium/hydration and I can keep the protein bars down (so far that's questionable). I was nauseous the whole time we were in the store. All the different smells really got to me and just looking at food made me want to toss my cookies. I know this too shall pass, but I'm definitely praying for it to pass sooner than later. I may give my PCP a call and see if he wants me to come in. I really had hoped to make it until my next scheduled visit. You see, before surgery I saw him once a month, but there always seemed to be something that brought me in before the month was up. We've joked that he should hang a shingle on one of the exam room doors just for me because I'm in there so often. I guess I just wanted to start a new trend after surgery. Sigh. {{HUGS}} Claire Redhead in FL MGB 4/10/00 Dr. Rutledge (http:/clos.net) " He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.
