Guest guest
Hi Sun, Yes, I can relate to the vision problems! My naturopathic doctor told me it was related to parasites and hormones. He put me on Alinia and Stromectol and that helped restore the vision loss (I wouldn't recommend those drugs for you though since you are pregnant). After that I still had trouble focusing on occasion and dry eyes. I used an OTC product for the eyes (sorry, can't remember the brand name...in a blue square box w/ individually packaged doses..can buy @ Walgreens and Target). Time has been the biggest factor as well as checking my thyroid ANTIBODIES (there are 2)...check the ANTIBODIES, not just the TSH. Mine were elevated and my doc put me on Synthroid and it has helped some. I would say my vision problems were a 10 when I was first ill...blindness, glaucoma, dry eyes, jumpy, couldn't read, difficulty focusing, driving...horrible!! I would say they are about a 3 or 4 now...rarely a problem except a few days before my period and during. I wish there was a magic cure and it would go away instantly but it's more complex than that...diet (eating well...if I eat sugar, my eyes get better for a few minutes and then get much much worse), drinking lots of water, and colon cleansing helps. It's weird but after a series of colonics my vision is much better for a while. Hang in there Sun and if you have any more ?s just ask. PH > > I have the same problem. Dry eyes, difficult time focusing, worse when I wake up in the morning. I went to ophthalmologist and they didn't do anything. They just said it was aging and asked me to use natural tear formula.  I wonder if this is one of the symptoms of having an implant. I never had this problem until last year...which was 10th year of my implant. All my symtoms started on the 10th year. I was healthy and never went to see doctors previous to that. All of sudden all the problem started. > > > > > ________________________________ > From: <meastra1977@...> > > Sent: Thu, June 24, 2010 8:49:18 AM > Subject: Hi Carlin..I have a question for you > >  > Carlin, > I just met with Patty and Daryl for lunch, they are wonderful ladies!! Well, I'm havimg a lot of eye issues: light sensitivity, burning, pain behind my eye, dryness, hard time focusing etc. Patty was saying that you were having similar problems. Do you have any advice for me. I went to my regular eye doctor a few months back and they said I was fine. I was considering seeing an ophthalmologist but really have a feeling that I will be wasting my time and money again!! I will be explanted in December and hopefully this is something that clears up right away or gradually after the explant. Of course, I was in perfect health beforehand. Are you explanted? If so, how are your eyes now? Can't wait to hear from you and thank you for being there!! > > > > > > Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (1) > Recent Activity: * New Members 7 > Visit Your Group >
Guest guest
The situation doesn't allow me to get surgery now for explant. I am aiming for December or next year. Mine gets worse before/during period too. I think when we lose blood we don't have enough blood so the blood does not ge to the optic area...blood deficiency. It may also be hormonal related as I am perimenopausal. A lot of problem is related to blood deficiency. If we have enough blood then we can fight disease better including parasites, bateria....others. Even though the blood test show normal range...in Chinese medicine we call it blood defiency. I have very heavy periods so during and immediately after the period my vision and dryness gets so bad that I can't even open my eyes in the morning. I checked for parasites recently and didn't have any. I do have h. pylori. My TSH is normal, but I never checked antibodies. Doctors just do not seem to know these things. The symptoms are too complex that doctors cannot figure it out. I am just hoping these issues will clear up slowly after explant, but I just hope I have not damaged by body beyond repair. Thank you! Guest guest
Thank you for the info. Sun!! You mentioned having your thyroid checked. I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet. I'm actually trying not too since I can still manage to live a somewhat normal life. I'm hoping I can get explanted, detox and go on my way (I can always hope). However, the docs have checked my thyroid and it was fine. So when they check it again, I ask them to check for antibodies? Thank you for your help!! > > > > I have the same problem. > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: <meastra1977@> > > > > Sent: Thu, June 24, 2010 8:49:18 AM > > Subject: Hi Carlin..I have a question for you > > > >  > > Carlin, > > I just met with Patty and Daryl for lunch, they are wonderful ladies!!
