Guest guest
I have the same problem. Dry eyes, difficult time focusing, worse when I wake up in the morning. I went to ophthalmologist and they didn't do anything. They just said it was aging and asked me to use natural tear formula. I wonder if this is one of the symptoms of having an implant. I never had this problem until last year...which was 10th year of my implant. All my symtoms started on the 10th year. I was healthy and never went to see doctors previous to that. All of sudden all the problem started. Well, I'm havimg a lot of eye issues: light sensitivity, burning, pain behind my eye, dryness, hard time focusing etc. Patty was saying that you were having similar problems. Do you have any advice for me. I went to my regular eye doctor a few months back and they said I was fine. I was considering seeing an ophthalmologist but really have a feeling that I will be wasting my time and money again!! I will be explanted in December and hopefully this is something that clears up right away or gradually after the explant. Of course, I was in perfect health beforehand. Are you explanted? If so, how are your eyes now? Can't wait to hear from you and thank you for being there!! Guest guest
Hi , I'm Carlin but prefer not use that name on the forum. I would rather use PH. Was told in the beginning that if we ever need to seek legal counsel because of our illness, it's best to use an alias. Apparently someone on the forum had a legal case but the attorney for the implant manufacturer went in and used everything she had written against her. Will answer your questions on the forum now! Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry to hear the problems you're experiencing with your eyes...that was one of my most annoying symptoms. I still deal with it periodically but it is so infrequent compared to when I was first ill. Yes, I am explanted but my eye symptoms seemed to increase for a period thereafter and was constant. What helped me most was time (try to be patient!), parasite cleansing, and hormonal balance. I heard that you were pregnant. When trying to find info regarding my own eyesight, I often came across how hormones, especially during pregnancy, can affect vision. Some women experience vision problems due to pregnancy alone so it could be from either that or your implants or both...although I still recommend explanting after birth. Getting my thyroid balanced has helped many of my symptoms. Progesterone and thyroid hormones affect vision. However, with you being pregnant you really need to find a good doc that understands hormonal balance...many don't in my experience. Like you, my opthamologists didn't offer much. They diagnosed me with glaucoma (high intraocular pressure) and vision loss and told me if I didn't take the glaucoma meds I would go blind. NOT TRUE!! They also told me my dry eyes were from the fan above my bed...again, NOT TRUE. Dry eyes, pain in the eyes, light sensitivity can be from parasitic/fungal infections and hormonal imbalances. For the dry eyes I took some OTC drops. I did parasite colon cleanses and meds that helped my vision return, the pain went away, and the dryness is gone. It still comes back slightly during my period but I am getting better. In your situation I wouldn't do any huge cleansing during pregnancy, but I would be very careful with diet, eliminating all sugar and wheat gluten...hard to do but you and your baby will be better for it. I would also make sure you are getting enough fiber to keep the bowels moving because autoimmune illnesses begin in the colon from what I have read...not that you have an autoimmune illness but that dry eyes can be a symptom of that down the road. Drink LOTS of water daily...it helps flush the body of any infections and hydrates the eyes. I have seen various posts by pregnant women on other forums complaining of vision changes. You might want to google vision, pregnancy and hormones together. In the meantime I'll be thinking of you and praying for relief of your symptoms. Try to focus on how exciting it will be to meet your baby instead of focusing on illness. Everything will be/is ok. You'll get through this! If you have any other questions, just ask.
