Hibiclens, caffeine and God

Hi everyone!

Well, my surgery is Monday (15th) and I am very nervous. I bought

the groceries, made the lists and bought some pretty undies (!).

I also bought the Hibiclens and wanted to make sure we are still

suppose to use this the evening before and the morning of surgery.

Also, I drank iced tea today and didn't know when I am suppose to

stop; can I have any on Sunday? Is it too much caffeine??

Finally, and most importantly, I would like to put out a request for

prayer. I would be very grateful if anyone would pray for me and Dr.

Rutledge on Monday. I know that Debbie from Cleveland and Constance

are also having surgery that day and I'm sure they would be

very grateful, also.

I have three daughters, ages 7, 8 and 10 and they are scared about

their mommy having surgery. I know it will be hard for them (and

me!) to be separated from me and their daddy (he's staying at the

hospital with me). I have had mixed emotions all this week, but I

know this is the right decision.

Thank you for your humor, kindness, advice, wisdom, life experiences,

compassion and spiritual generousity. You are all angels in my eyes

and I am a better person for having known each and every one of you!
