Guest guest
, There are many supplements and foods you can buy and eat to help support your immune system. Immune system support usually involves killing off those things that the immune system would normally have to fight. By killing them off with natural supplements and foods, you lighten the load in your body. So, natural immune system support would include anything that would be considered an anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, AND also those things that are considered PRO-biotic, or friendly bacteria that do good work. Raw garlic is a good all around anti-pathogenic food/herb. Oil of oregano, colloidal silver, caprylic acid, olive leaf extract, and kefir/yogurt/fermented foods provide good bacteria. You can also take probiotic pills. Reducing inflammation is another aspect of immune system modulation. To reduce inflammation, you can use enzymes, omega 3 fatty acids, and herbs, but it is also vitally important to stop eating those foods that promote inflammation as well. You really can't do one without the other. Animal foods with their saturated fats promote inflammation because of the omega 6 fats. On the other hand, fish with their omega 3 fats are anti-inflammatory, so using fish for your sole animal protein would be the best way to go. Then add in fish oil supplements as well. Tumeric is a good anti-inflammatory herb. Pineapples provide bromelain, so eat pineapple if you can, but not canned...you need fresh. Enzymes such as Medizym taken on an empty stomach do much to help reduce inflammation. It takes longer for natural methods to work, but hopefully you can heal without the use of plaquenil. I never took it. Instead, I did a lot of fasting (which stirred up stuff and I would still have inflammation, but over time everything cleared up.) I hope this is helpful.... Guest guest
GG, Did it have sugar in it (was it flavored?) Usually the store bought kefir is loaded with sugar to ward off the sourness of fermented dairy, but the biggest issue with store bought kefir is that it does not have the same volume and varieties of beneficial bacteria that your homemade version will have using kefir grains. That is true of even the plain kind. But if you can only get kefir by buying it rather than making it, then that would be preferable to having none at all. Unless, of course, dairy is troublesome for you. Some people don't do well with dairy because homogenization and pasteurization alters the availability of the calcium...though more common reasons are because of being lactose intolerant or allergic to the casein. However, I knew a woman in Vegas whose son was ill because of her having implants while pregnant with him, and he could NOT DRINK store bought milk at all. He could not tolerate it. However, he could drink raw milk by the gallon! So, it doesn't hurt to check it all out and see what works best for you. Guest guest
Hi , same thing happened with me my Dr wouldn't give me it either, in a way I am glad though as I am trying to do things the natural way. I would love to talk to you about things, are you on face book? Sue On Fri, Jul 2, 2010 at 8:13 PM, <DGRAHAMA@...> wrote: Plaquinil is one of the strongest anti-inflammatories one can take.. I took it for 5 years for the lupus... It cut the edge for me. It is NOT something that cures you tho.. It is much easier when dealing with doctors if you dont really talk about the implant issue. That makes doctors be on the defensive and think everyone is out to sue.... If you find a doctor that is smart and knows the adverse affects of chemicals in implants, then hang on to them..... Guest guest
G G~ There is a huge difference in making it versus purchasing it. Purchasing it, it is processed ! and has no telling what all in it and there is also no telling what and how many truly good organisms in it........ Guest guest
It's all about doing what we can, that's for sure, without going crazy. I used to make my own kefir with raw milk and loved it. I still have half a dozen little containers of frozen kefir grains in my freezer. I had to stop, because my family wasn't helping me to drink it fast enough and I was getting overrun with kefir grains! They were multiplying and the milk was fermenting so fast I couldn't keep up. When we went on vacation, I gave it a rest for awhile and put the grains in storage. Once in awhile I try to pick it back up, but found that frozen kefir grains take a little effort to " wake back up " . The milk tastes off for awhile, and you end up throwing away good milk until the bacteria get back into balance. If you don't want to make kefir with the bonafide grain itself, you can buy packages of kefir culture that will make quite a number of batches before the culture weakens and needs to be refreshed with new cultures. This works well for those who know they won't keep up with the kefir grains and keeping them in good balance. When my grains got off balance, several times I've used yogurt to bring them back into balance, and that seemed to help. Dede sounds like she's got it down to a science by now! > > > > > > From: Sandy <dusty.com@> > > Subject: Inflammation - Plaquenil > > > > Cc: " Sandy " <dusty.com@> > > Date: Friday, 2 July, 2010, 18:07 > > > > > > > > > > > > Does Plaquenil help with inflammation? ?? > > If so what were your noticable results ?? > > Sandy~ > > > > > > Hi, > > She recommend Plaquenil 200....400 mg for the immune system > > >
